Ethan and Sydney decided they wanted pies instead of birthday cake this year. Ethan had Pumpkin Pie and Sydney chose to have Tollhouse Pie......yummy!!Here is a story of our day to day life!!! Greg and I got married in October 1998 and have three kids. Twins, Ethan and Sydney, who are eleven years old and Jordan is nine years old. Needless to say, they keep us busy, but we wouldn't change a thing!!!

Homecoming....
Sydney and her cheer leading...
Sydney signed up for Cheer Leading camp this week. They had camp on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and then they were to perform at the JV Football game on Thursday. Wouldn't you know it, it snowed all day long on Thursday... I called the school to see if they would still be performing, and of course they were..... Here are some pictures of our little cheer leader freezing in the snow!! She did a really good job and had a lot of fun!!! We are pretty proud of her for doing this because she tends to be shy about these sort of things!!!Wednesday, September 16, 2009

Busy weekend.....
Jordan gettin a Slip-N-Slide!!! We needed it this weekend!! It was sooooooo hot!!
Jordan opening one of his presents!!!
All of us old people at our reunion......
My friend Bob Teter and his wife Stacey and their boys Evan and Marshall!!
Our family at the reunion!!Well, we had a very busy weekend. It was the East -West Shrine Game. The kids were on the Shriner's float for Baker City, so they had to be at the park at 8:30 to meet up with Bryan who was also on the float.
Then we had a reunion in the park for the youth group I was in soooo long ago. We had such a great time!!! I met up with my good friend, Bob Teter and his family in the park Saturday morning at the pancake breakfast. I love his wife!! She is absolutely a kindred spirit!! We hit it off instantly and had so much fun laughing and telling stories. We were at the park until about 8:30 Saturday evening and then we all met for breakfast at a restaurant here in town and then we all went to church. I think everyone had a great time.
Also, Sunday was Jordan's 7th birthday. We have been telling him that we weren't having a party this year and he actually believed us!!! Too funny!!! Everyone sang Happy Birthday to him at the restaurant and he was so embarrassed. Then we had a surprise party for him, in the park, Sunday evening. He had no idea!!! It was great.
All in all, it was a great weekend!!!

Almost August already??? Really??
Sorry it has been so long!!! Between Little League, broken arms, end of school and summer in general, our life has been hectic!!!
It's hard to believe that August is almost here!!! This summer has just flown by.
I took a week off in June and Greg's mom and sister and her kids came to stay with us for a couple of day. It was a lot of fun!! The kids played non-stop and we all had a nice time to visit!! It seems like all we did was eat while they were here!!! We took them to Charley's Ice Cream Parlor once and then Shelly and Greg made some home made Pot Stickers and they were so good!!! Sydney has been asking for more ever since.
The kids have been doing day camp this summer. Sydney first class was Kids Kuisine where she got to cook a lot of fun items. They had a circus theme one week and different themes for each class. The boys did a class call Looney Laboratories, and I am sure you can all imagine what that was about!!! All three of them are now taking a class called Science, Slime and Color. One of the activities they did yesterday was put Mentos into a bottle of pop and watch the explosion. Jordan, of course, was most excited when he got to eat his Mento's...
Other than that, the kids have been doing a lot of swimming at Sam-O and playing with the neighbor kids. In the last week, I know we have had a Guinea Pig, named Crystal, and two Pygmy goats in our yard. Needless to say, our neighborhood is not all that quiet in the summer time!!! I'm sure the neighbors will love it when school resumes at the end of the month.

Practice...Practice....Practice...

Ethan's team got to practice with the High School baseball team on Monday. It was such an awesome experience!! All the high school players and coaches were so supportive of the little guys!! It was just so much fun to watch!! Ethan is going to be the catcher for his team so he got to practice with the 4 catcher's of the high school team and their coach for about 45 minutes. He did great!! I can't wait until opening day!!! Go Braves!! (Ethan's team!!) Yep, I am a proud mom!!!

Baseball....our favorite season!!!
Well, as many of you know, baseball is in the air. Try outs were Saturday, April 4th... Sydney and Ethan both had to try out this year. They both did great, but Sydney now has to sit this season out in order for her arm to heal!! Bummer, we were all disappointed, although, this does makes my schedule a little easier. Ethan practices Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4-6 and Jordan practice's Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 -6:00. So, as you can see, our life is going to be hectic. Opening day, Saturday April 25th, starts out with a parade from the park to Wade Williams Baseball field, then we will have team pictures and both boys will have a game. I love baseball season!!!
