All Stars....

It was incredibly hot at the second game and the boys were all eating snow cones!!!

View of the field at the second game....

Lane, Sam and Ethan clapping for the other team before game 1.

The boys celebrating after game 1.

Ethan at bat in game 2.

2011 11 Year old All Stars Team!!! Woot-Woot!!!

National Anthem before 3rd game...

Our boys after the third game and were eliminated.... Sad faces....

Warming up before a game....

Just chillin' with the guys....

This is one of my favorite pictures from the whole week..... Ethan's coach, Mitch, giving him "5" when he got on first base!!

All the boys and coaches signed balls and each boy got to keep a ball....

Ethan made All Stars for the 11 year olds. He was so excited to make it. It was very, very busy for a while. He had practice everyday for 3+ hours, fund raisers, scrimmages, games out of town, pool parties, and then finally All Stars in Pendleton.

When the boys were given their uniforms, Ethan said, "This is the best day of my whole life!" All the adults had a good laugh over that.

We all had a really good time. All the boys got along so well and played really hard. I was very proud of each of them. They won their first game against Union County. After they won, the whole team went to the Water Park in Pendleton and had a great time.

Then they had a day off and then we played LaGrande. We lost by one point, but the boys played hard and really had a good game. It was so good to see all of the boys being so supportive of each other. It really made me proud to be from Baker. Then the whole team and families went to New York Ritchie's and had pizza. We all had so much fun visiting with each other.

Finally, the boys played Pendleton and lost in the semi-finals. At this point they were out of the tournament. It was really hard for everyone. Greg turned to me and said he almost started crying!!! We were all feeling that way. As the boys walked out of the dug out, there were a lot of tears. Broke my heart to see them. Once again, these boys played their hearts out and were outstanding representatives for Baker City!!! So proud of all the boys!!!!

Happy 3rd Birthday Leah!!

We went to Bois this weekend to spend some time with Greg's family. It was Leah's third birthday so we got to celebrate with her and share in her Dora Cake. It was really nice to spend time with Greg's sister Shelly and her husband Randy. We also got to "meet" Papa Danny's homing pigeons. They were awesome.... so pretty.... Thank you guys for opening up your homes to us!

School Photos.....

Ethan and Sydney are both in 5th Grade this year. It is so hard for me to believe that!!! It truly feels like they were just born. Ethan told me on the first day of school this year, "Mom, only two years and we will be in middle school!" How is that possible?!

Sydney has started playing volley ball this fall and really loves it. I love going to her games and watching her!!! Although, I have to admit, when practice started I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to handle all the squealing and noise the girls made!! Wow, they are vocal!!! I t has been a great experience for all of us!!!

Jordan is in third grade and is loving it.... He is my musical child. The boy loves to sing and dance!!! He sang the National Anthem for the opening day of little league this year and did a terrific job. I was so incredibly proud of him!! Although, I don't know who was more nervous, Jordan or me!!

Life has been crazy as usual. I kept thinking that life would settle down as the kids got older and more independent....boy was I wrong!!! If anything, we are more on the go than ever!!!

4th of July

Sydney helping me babysit Joe!! We had so much fun!! Joe is 7 months old and he is a total flirt... He was such a good boy......until his momma walked in that afternoon!! He is definitely a mama's boy!!! I had forgotten how little the twins were when Jordy was a baby. They were so funny with Joe. He spit up a little and they totally freaked out!! Then at the end of the day, Sydney and Ethan both said they would like to have another little brother or sister.....ummm....NO!!!

Sydney got "nabbed" to be in the parade. The Lions club from Island City put this Pig Train in the parade and didn't have enough kids to ride in it, so Syd got to be in the parade... It was pretty cute!

Ethan and Jordan have started Cub Scouts. Here they are in the parade....Jordan, of course, thinks he is hilarious...... ugh....
